Tim has a lifelong love of drawing and creating art and design. His work is typically energetic and vibrant; he enjoys the challenge of depicting action and emotion in his sport paintings and expressing the character of the subject in a portrait. Tim also depicts other subjects in his work such as buildings, animals and man made objects.
Tim studied Visual Communications at the National College Of Art And Design, Dublin where broadened his skill base to include a strong sense of design and typography alongside his drawing and painting skills. Tim is adept in the use of digital media which he uses in both his design work and art work. He has worked as a freelance artist and designer since graduating from NCAD in 1997. In 1998 he established Graphic Index Ltd. an award winning design studio whose clients range from SMEs to large corporate and government organisations.
Tim has lectured at The National College of Art And Design and enjoys his annual participation in the Hullabaloo Arts Festival where he passes on his knowledge to primary school pupils.
